Block stars open up about interracial friendship amid ‘bullying’ allegations: ‘It’s horrible’

The BlockThe new team of Maddy and Charlotte had their first few days in the competition after stepping in last week to replace Jesse and Paige. Not only have they had problems with their construction team and their plasters were ‘stolen’ by House 5, but they have also been out with most of their stars without the reason.

The sisters revealed on Monday night’s episode that only “a few people” got to celebrate Maddy’s 25th birthday while most of their group cheered her on.

“I definitely think we’re a close-knit group and there’s a part of me that sometimes feels like we’re not part of that,” Maddy said during her confession. “It’s one of those things where it’s like, how long do we play before they let us in, or do we make our own trip?”

Meanwhile, their co-stars gave a brutal response when asked to share their thoughts on Maddy and Charlotte in their on-camera interview.

“Charlotte and Maddy are babies, they’re little babies,” said Kylie, while her partner Brad simply replied, “Who?”.

“I have no opinion about them. I think they are there, they are in the First House,” Grant said. I’m looking at it like it’s Paige and Jesse’s place.

Mimi was also caught telling her co-stars after a team dinner that she believes Maddy and Charlotte “need depth and drama in their personalities”.

Viewers took to social media throughout Monday night’s episode to rant about how Maddy and Charlotte were being “bullied” and “bullied” by their co-stars, with one person saying, “I’m disappointed especially the behavior of these women this season”.

“These contestants should be ashamed of themselves for treating the girls so badly,” added one, while a third said, “The disrespectful and heartless treatment they receive from the other contestants is appalling.

Despite what may be shown on television, however, Courtney insists Yahoo lifestyle that the wives of the actors got along well during the filming. He adds that he and Grant went on the show with the main goal of building a house, and the newfound friendship was just a bonus.

“I feel like in general, I get along with a lot of people, so I felt like that was going to happen and I was going to make friends. But we went into the competition saying, we’re not going to try to make friends. If it happens , it happens,” he shares.

“It was amazing, and I think it really helps you keep going. It’s a great support system to have. Kylie, Mimi, the girls, Paige, we’ve all been lucky to get along.”

Although it will not be shown on TV, Grant says Yahoo lifestyle that he and Kristian have also formed one of the closest bonds in the competition.

“Without giving too much away, one thing that definitely stands out is the close friendship between me and Kristian. We really had a lot in common as people. We hit it off from day one, and I don’t know why it wasn’t caught on camera earlier,” he explains.

“I am a person who does not have many partners outside of work. I have several partners, and several of them are my brothers. So I didn’t come here expecting to make friends with anyone. I was here to build a house, really. I was having fun, but I wasn’t here to make sure I was having fun. Eventually, I became very close friends with Kristian. He will be my friend for life. To be honest, he’s as close as my brothers at 13 weeks.”
